Great boat folks, this is owned by the founder of the North American Steamboat Association and it is his 4th of 5 full size steamboats. my father, myself and my son have had many rides aboard when not in our own steam launch.

I'm sure I met you at one of the events I go to Charlie with (when I can.)
Yes, this is a great boat. It is my favorite of his so far (but don't tell him, his paddlewheeler is really neat too.)
I'll be seeing him tonight, so this boat might be going on ebay soon as he needs the space.

Yes I remember meeting you, and yes I think Rachel Z is my favorite also and I have known all 5 of his boats quite well, fired or operated every one of them except for Adamy 1 which was quite small, hope she stays semi close.

Don,
I met you over at Waterford when we ran the Champlain canal, and I think I met Eric at the same time? I remember a polite younger guy with Charlie Roth. My memory isn't what it used to be
That was a great fun trip and look forward to getting back over to Waterford again, quite a few have invited me for events, but that is a long and expensive trip pulling the Tug. About 770 miles one way and my truck gets about 10 mpg pulling it. When I went there to "Tugboat roundup" in 2012? gas was 4 bucks per gallon, that trip was painful!
Too bad you didn't get to run the Champlain with us up to Whitehall where the US Navy was founded, we had a great time.
Yes, the Rachel Z is a fine boat.
