Having watched this process in person it is the most alarmingly complex power plant that I have ever seen and it runs like a watch. I am so impressed.

That said, I like my crude setup for it's own virtues.

Really like the video, very well done. As I said on youtube, 4-5minutes is very impressive. Nyitra takes a min of 30min, but it's probably closer to 45min.

I for one do not understand the whole process. I get the boot strapping the kerosene with the acetylene to get the vaporizer hot. The pump, are you recirculating water? How is the fuel sprayed, pumped?

You're right Mike, it is incredibly complex! I wish I could take credit for the design and manufacture of it, but the credit all goes to Charles Grosjean.

With the pump I'm initially only pumping fuel until I get 50 psi and 300*f steam, then I close the bypass and pump both fuel and water. (Fuel pump and feed pump on opposite sides of the pump ram) I close the boiler top drain and open the main steam stop, then I can start warming the engine.
