Care package from the UK

A special section just for steam engines and boilers, as without these you may as well fit a sail.

Care package from the UK

Post by marinesteam » Wed Apr 04, 2018 3:31 pm

A package arrived from the UK sent by my friend J. Winn containing a beautiful lubricator built by the late Dick Bradford. I'm very proud to be the recipient of this one. John says he has another one available to sell on behalf of Richard's widow. I can put you in contact with John if your in need of a lubricator.

I smiled when I saw this post. I bought an engine that John made and am very happy with it.

I think happily of this as another example of John Winn's British Invasion into US steamboating.
