Re: Al Berry has a New Hasbroucke v2 simple for sale
Al is retired and does one engine a year, max. At minimum wage compensation an absolute low price would be $3,200. Al would consider offers above that price... He might accept or hang on for other bids.. Last time he put a double on eBay it went above that price and was unpainted... I'd like to save...

Al Berry has a New Hasbroucke v2 simple for sale
My old friend Al Berry is putting his new Hasbroucke V2 simple up for sale. Over 450 hours of masterful machining in Ray H's prettiest configuration. The engine is entirely hand made without castings. Lots of these engines are presently running beautifully in launches from 15 to 20 ft oal. This is a...

Better yet, ask the present owner to do so..The boiler was built by Dave Thompson and the engine IS a work of art...Hope it went to someone who appreciates it! Magnificent Navy K to be sold
Carl Kriegeskotte has put his restored Navy K for sale. He's working on the Stevens "Little Julia" replica project and no long has a need for the engine. Those of us who know Carl realize that he is a very talented engine designer and builder. He has put a lot of work into this engine and it's a gem...

Re: INTERESTING RAFFLE OPPORTUNITY
Sorry that I "bumped" this topic to the top of the list. What I really wanted to do was remove the topic since I probably won't offer it this coming year. Any one out there able to remove this topic?

Re: INTERESTING RAFFLE OPPORTUNITY
OK Bilgerat687. You're still closer than NZ! Note to all coming from further than 150 miles from Waterford, Maine, I'll throw in two overnights, a damn good meal and a day trip to the Lee's mills meet in September (should you wish to come here just prior to the Lee's Mills meet).

Re: CNC Milling of model turbine rotor video
Fred: Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on Herbach & Rademan. They certainly have a nice selection of geared motors. My eBay explorations haven't yet produced any leads, but I'll keep looking. I really want to avoid gearing or belts so that I maintain a direct link from the turbine to the genera...

CNC Milling of model turbine rotor video
Just completed my CNC Grizzly mill conversion to 3 axis CNC. Took me a while to get it right! Currently holds to within a thousandth inch in XYZ. Video shows the mill CNC machining the rotor and the Turbine in a rough "proof of concept" rig running on compressed air and live steam. Turbine connects ...
