Re: Southworth Steam Pump 12" for sale plus other stuff

Hello Tom,

Saw Yukon and instantly thought Canada!

I put the magazines in a box and weighed them, and it comes to 7kg or 15.5 pounds.

I need to do a bit of research to see what the least expensive shipment method will be.

Regards,

Hello Tom,

Yes I could box them up and post if your want. Roughly where are you based?

I am in the UK Midlands, not far from a certain river..

Hello All,

Just a note to say that the Southworth pump has now been sold, but the other items on the advert are still up for grabs.

Admiralty Motor Whaler width Dimension

Hello All, Is there anyone out there who can confirm the exact dimensions of the Admiralty Motor Whaler? I am considering buying a hull restoration project to suit my steam engine under construction. There are conflicting dimensions for the width. It is normally stated as 7', but some information I ...

Re: A.A.Leak Construction Manual

Hello Boaty Pete,

I saw your 'wanted' ad quite late, as I don't often look at the forum as much as I probably should!

I am currently in the latter stages of building a Leak engine, and have a manual that I have a;most finished with. Are you still looking for a copy?

Re: Experience of A.A. Leak's compounds

Hi Mal, I am building one of these engines currently. I have 'graduated' from a model engineering background - sold my steam lorry and got stuck in. I don't know where you are based, but I am in the UK, so became a member of the SBA. They're a nice group of guys who are really knowledgeable, friendl...
