Once you've done one the rest get a bit easier, I've got a bit better at doing the nails and roves and I've actually steamed a couple of new ribs in place

The copper nails are easily cut through with my oscillating multi tool and so is the plank so it just slides out

Shortening a brass/ bronze stern tube,
Does anyone know what thread is used on stern tubes? Is it a BSP ?
Where can I get my tube re threaded after I've cut it down?

Boat paint
New to boating,
I'm currently renovating a clinker built 14ft boat, I've noticed under the floorboards it's all painted red, is this some sort of lead based paint like red oxide? Is it common to use such paint, if not what would you recommend?
