Re: Where is everyone?

I was also wondering about the lack of postings.

That's a lovely bag for your rudder. Wayward belle has a removable rudder as well, and I never can find a good spot for it. I may have to steal your idea.
No theft required. A good idea, and go for it.
I am relieved to get this idea realized.

Re: Steam Thistle Cluaran

Lastest news: No steaming since that September 2020 fun. First Covid-19 shut us down, and then In July 2021 my wife had a paralyzing stroke. So my life since then has been caring for her. I couldn't agree more about Kozo's books.

Penberthy Injector Repair

For those seeking servicing of a Penberthy (PB) injector, I just had success doing that. We have a rare 1/2" PB injector that had the steam input jet lost and replaced with an incorrect one. No operation at our pressure range of 50 to 125 psi. After some considerable research I located Edward Stark ...

Re: Sidewheel steamer aircraft carriers in the Great Lakes

I shared that fascinating video with my Friend who was born just post-war in that Great Lakes Navy training facility.
He'd never heard of those remarkable training flat tops!

Re: TWIN 32 x 38 mm - steam engine for small boats or canoes

Dietrich: Very interesting ideas! The next phase would have the stroke-adjusting disc position controlled by the boiler water level control, to automatically maintain water level... And yes, I know there are other ways to do that, going back a century and more in time. 'Just for the mental exercise....
