If I were building from scratch I'd go with the #10 but I have found a very reasonably priced, very well built #1 that I'm thinking of buying. I don't think I can build one for the price I can get this one for.

Anyone here have any experience with a Ray HasBrouck #1 engine? Pros Cons? I want to place it in my 16’ Thayer launch.

My new launch, Mary Jane, is a Thayer 16’ fantail and at this time she has a 1910 Palmer 2hp engine and a spare engine on a stand. Yes, one of those smelly, noisy, infernal sic combustion engines.
