Re: Burning Liquid Fuels
For those interested in different types of fuels, the best advice (after 45 years in this hobby) is to go to a meet where there will be several steamboats. Re: Trying to contact Gary Smith owner of Steam Launch Carol
When Gary had her, Carol Ann lived in California. He sold her to the gentleman that owned her previous to Gudmund. I don't know how to get in touch with Gary anymore, but Dick Vennerbeck or one of the other California crowd should know how to get in touch with Gary.

Re: 2 stroke conversion
I'm looking to convert a small 2 stroke lawnmower engine (or similar) to steam. At the moment I'm thinking of getting hold of an old gas cylinder or fire extinguisher for a boiler. Make sure that you obtain enough scrap wood/plywood to built a number of varying size coffins to accommodate your pass...

Re: cleaning engine pan?
Where does one find the actual Laws/Regulations Here? The primary governmental agency is the Federal EPA: check out their regulations for discharge: http://www.epa.gov/oem/content/lawsregs/sheenovr.htm Individual states vary some, but all must meet, at a minimum, EPA requirements. In Oregon its: ht...
