I like the smokestack hinge system. Not sure how the steam pipes on the front were dealt with.
And the steam tug next to HUGO appears to be steaming up.

We (Jack Thompson, Andy Van Leunen and I ) talked our way onto and rode on a very similar tug ('Finland') from Rotterdam to Dordrecht back in 2000 as part of the Dordt in Stoom steam festival. Great fun, and we watched as the crew barely got the stack down in time to pass under a 'low' bridge. They also plugged one of the leaky tubes in the great big wet back Scotch boiler with the boiler still warm the day before so they could pass their boiler inspection. They were burning Polish coal as the last of the coal mines closed in the Netherlands in the early 1970s. One of these days I'll post pictures, but they're pre-digital so need to be scanned, and they're 1000 miles south of here right now.
