I have been told that "Clupet" (pronounced CLEWPAY) piston rings are best type of rings for steam engines, has anyone any experience of such. Frank.

I've only heard good comments concerning their performance, though to be honest I can't remember from who. Prices are reasonable (cheaper than most,) but delivery from time of ordering is not rapid. It is a small set-up.

for people not familiar, they are gas tight rings and take the form similar to a keyring in shape. highly recommended.
