Hi,

Does anyone out there in U.S.A. or anywhere know where I can find some good bronze cylinder drain cocks for two Elliott Bay engines I am building? I am having trouble sourcing any here in U.K.
I would really like to use a single cock per cylinder (fitted on the lower end the upper end connected via a pipe) the cock shuts off both at once.
Klinger sleeve packed would be ideal but a quality taper cock with packings would suffice.

1/4 or 3/8 threaded B.S.P. ideally but could convert from N.P.T.

I eventually find almost everything I need on e-bay. You can define a search, and they will e-mail you when an item comes up for sale. I would suggest this search:

(valve*,cock*) (1/4,3/8)

This will get you all valves and all cocks, which are either 1/4 or 3/8 size, and this would be a large amount of information to examine. You could also just search like this:

drain cock*

This will get you all listings with "drain cock" and all listings with "drain cocks". The asterix (*) allows any character following the letters, often used to include the plural (more than one iof the searched item for sale).
