Your workmanship is definitely "first class", glad to see such work. Your last post illustrates one of the paramount requirements of boat building, plenty if clamps.

Many thanks Fred, I am doing my best.

Speaking of clamps, I have made a set of very special clamps to assist with the planking. Should be testing them out before the weekend.

Your work is nothing short of impressive!

You'd probably have several thousand, of not tens of thousands, of followers if you were on Instagram, did short YouTube updates, or time lapse videos.

Thanks Ron, I am a man on a mission. I am trying to put as big a dent in it as I can while I have a period of reasonably free time.

Thanks Wesley,

I have a number of people who keep encouraging me to do more about getting my work out there for people to see, and I really do appreciate the feedback that I get. My problem is that I love building but I hate slowing down to make videos and editing and all that comes with it. My friends say that I should just have one of my workers follow me around with a camera, but I'm not sure that I would like that either. The buggers would probably make a bloopers video of all my secret screwups, and that could be a long video.

I definitely understand! Sometimes it takes me months to get up footage because of the time of year and what work is demanding of me.

Haha a "how not to do it, and cover it up" short film

Two thirds of the planks, 1000 feet, are on, and it's definitely starting to look like a boat.
