Thank you, for all your kind words guys.
Yes, we are very proud, she trims and sail wonderfull.
She is doing 475 rev/min, 6 nm whit only 100psi.

Yes Please! I am very interested in such things! boiler pressure, engine cut-off, condenser pressure, wind speed, prop pitch and diameter......we have very similar boats, except my boat is a 6" wider......so I am very curious!
She really does look wonderful Piet. You should be very proud of your efforts. They are well deserved!

Thank you all again, for the kind words.
Dave, she has an:
14X20 prop. Shaft is 1 1/4 inch thick steel.
The boiler can give 185/200 pounds steam a hour. Pressure max 150psi. Fired on paraffine whit a Blackstaff 3 norzel burner whit a work pressure of 10 psi on it.
With a pressure of 110 psi, the engine ( 120 years old Easton&Johnson 1,5+3X3,5 ) runs 456 rev/min ( elektric handheld revelution counter) Vacuum 10/12 hg with a Jabsco pump.
The condensor is 2 times 5/8 ?( 15mm ) copper pipe 4 feet long.
She is doing then 6,4 nm/hour on the GPS navigator
Measuring was two ways ( in the wind and whith the wind, no current )
Wave hight about 1 feet.
Turn around in 3 lengts of the boat. ( port en starboard almost the same )
All the glands are leaking badly, the are fitted whit new gaskets ( cotton and grease ) I want to tightened them slowly.
Reversing??? ( single slip ) well it works.......thats all I want to say about it.

Thanks for the tips. I think I shall just go for the moulded beading round the top as you suggest, as I am building up the coaming thickness using ply (My attempts to steam and bend mahogany were rubbish!)
