Wesley,
Bumping up on the low end of hull speed, what more could one ask for? Looks very nice in the water, it was hard to get a feel for what she would look like when she was up in stilts. With the tiger teeth gone and the new house its hard to imagine her earlier life bumping logs around a mill pond up my way.

Great job both in scale and detail.
My hats off to Steve

Dave

PS: Would you by chance know where in SW Washington she came from?

Thank you Dave.

My dad had a heck of a time trying to get a feel for looks and scale himself as he had the neighbors very close to one side and his house on the other.

He picked up the hull from a now defunct yard in Longview Washington, we were told she towed log booms down the Columbia. She was definitely a log tug wherever she worked as she had been played over all the stove-in plates and ribs... He cut all the old plate out and re-bent the ribs to contact the hull again. A heck of a laborious job!

Hi Wes

Just got around to doing some Forum browsing so have only just seen your news. Congratulations to all concerned. It has been an interesting story and I was amused how relaxed everybody looked on the maiden voyage. Clearly some great engineers in the family!

Regards

Pete
