I was there in 2004, perhaps again in the future.

Do you happen to know anything about the "Claparede" engine company of Argentuil, France? My father has an engine built by them in 1924 and we would like to find out more info about the company.

It could be a good occasion to maked a new trip ;)

I have looked on google with the following terms" Claparede vapeur Argenteuil" and found some information, it seems that there is also a naval builder in Normandy with the same name

tell me if I could be of any help

Thank you very much

I will perform a search as you suggested and get back to you.

The person my father bought the engine from bought from a gentleman who supposedly found it in Vietnam or somewhere in South East Asia in the '60's
