Hey Steve,

Just wondering if you've managed to make some progress on your launch during this little hiccup?

Hey, Wes,

Yes, though I'm busier than ever with "real work."

All of the feedwater piping is finished - suction and pressure - and so I making deck templates for those areas so I can walk around without smooshing copper lines. Boiler goes in once the overhead crane is finished in The Works. After that, it is pipe the auxiliary steam lines, cap the coaming, do some quarter-round and paint the hull one final time!

All the best,
Steve

A shot with the boiler in the boat, secured to its mounts, with stack and bronze stays in place (Stack easily removes for transport or low clearance.) Now on to insulation, applying the jacketing, and boiler piping. The oak coaming and other trim on the foredeck is waiting to the last so I don't scratch it up. Apologize for the "quality" of the device image.

She's a beauty. Been lurking in your blog and wondering when your next update would pop up.

No worries Steve!

I have to report that I have just been back through the early part of this thread as a refresher, and found loads of corrupted photos. It's rather a shame as it spoils the ambiance, especially those that have lost too much to see what is afoot. I've come across this on other forums and it can happen when there is an update to the software.

That, or when photobucket decides to go from a free service to a pay service and holds your photos hostage....

One of the reasons I will have nothing to do with the Cloud, and never have with any other photo hosting type service. They are MY photos and I decide who sees them. I have a separate SSHD (and backup), just to keep all 35000 of them on, and I disconnect it every time Mr Gates and his Mates come along with an update! :D

With no warning whatsoever, not sure what they did is legal.
