I've steamed in the Mosquito which is powered by that engine. Dan [the owner] sells the boat and the engine so he might be somewhat bias!!LOL But I am impressed with the engine every time I go out in it! DenImage[/img]

den, many thanks. I'm located in southern maine so I will not be able to go obviously. My project is a 27' x 9'w x 4'd tug ( fairly large displacement) and I'm trying to figure out how big of a steam plant and boiler to purchase or build, although my machinest abilities are limited, I'm a wood boatbuilder by trade for 38 years but also enjoy working with anything mechanical. Enjoy your day. George

George - Dan did not bring Mosquito But we chatted at dinner and he is preparing a small production run of this engine and it sounds just right for your project. Email Dan for some pics. Den

Den, Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate your effort. Have done what you suggested. I guess I'll have to wait awhile for Dan to get back to me. Thanks again, George
