Hello fellow steamboaters.
I am working on a proposal for my local City Counsel to organize and establish a Steamboat Rally here in San Angelo, Texas (aprox. 275 miles SW of Dallas) on our local municipal lake (Lake Nasworthy) in the near future. This is something very unfamiliar to them. Would anyone know who to contact to get the most concise and accurate demographics on potential attendees for one of these types of events, average attendance #'s, how many boats typically, launching needs, fuel access options, RV or Hotel preferences, length of rally, typical rally events, attendees willingness to have local residents come by for look see's and showing off their boats, etc, etc. Who is the most knowledgeable about the overall scope of Steamboating Groups and aficionados in America right now. Thanks.
Mack
