Merry Christmas to you all! Thanks for keeping this forum alive and well. And have a Happy New Year! Don't know if it's politically correct-but it will have to do! LOL Den

Hell, I'm an atheist and I still wish you all a Merry Christmas.

As to a Happy New Year, it depends on how much news we read!

I know. I know.

I take some comfort from the observation, at least in myself, of selective memory. I drive down the road and notice and remember the dolts and forget the other vast majority of pleasant and cooperative people. I was in traffic with a friend once when we observed a reckless driver. I was gritting my teeth until my friend said, "Maybe he has a sick cat."

The media make money over drama and it's easy to forget that almost all people are good. Those stories just don't sell soap.

Not that I'm spending the holidays with my brother-in-law!

HNY to all, when you get there.

I'm just in the process of emptying several, towards many, glass containers. You never know, they may come in useful for something else. ;) ;)

In my most recent post to this thread, the word "news" was morphed into a link which take you to some site that I have never heard of and I did most certainly not make that word into a link.

If this was in any way a normal thing for this site, I am out of here forthwith!

Any enlightenment?

To further investigate, I edited that post. First I retyped the words and reposted. They still came up as links. Then I edited to replace that word with euphemisms. No links this time.

So now comes the experiment:

news news news

No to post this and see what happens.
