Wishing you the Best on US Thanksgiving Day

Post by RNoe » Thu Nov 26, 2020 4:30 pm

I wish you all to be secure and well cared for on this Thanksgiving Day in the USA.
2020 has been a disturbing year, and things are looking better for our futures.

So enjoy the attached picture of my steam launch. Yes, it is visible...
Stay safe and healthy,

Thank you Russ. Happy Thanksgiving. A happy belated Thanksgiving to our Canadian cousins to the North as well (10/12/2020).

Hi to our Friends Across the Water

Thanks for the Greetings. Knowing it was Thanksgiving, and knowing that today (Friday) is Black Friday, I thought I would be a little bit naughty on my shopping trip yesterday. Almost all the shops I went to from the big chains had big 'Black Friday Deals' posters up so I asked the folk who served me how they were planning to celebrate Thanksgiving. None of them had a clue and were surprised to discover where the Black Friday thing came from. In my humble opinion that is yet another classic example of how the English copy US ideas and then manage to get them all wrong.

Hope you all had a good celebration despite the Covid restrictions. Of course, we did not celebrate, but I did bake a cake which is a task long overdue.

Regards

Pete

Dave:
A brilliant observation!

Happily, I find steamers to be far better people in this topsy-turvy world.
Cheers and Steam, all.
