I think we are all eagerly awaiting Wes first video with the launching and sea trials, in anticipation of it I'll try to post a video with my boat from last fall.

On of our steamers used to tow a dingy full of wood to make it to a certain annual gathering and still ran of wood on the way home. Of course hardly anything in his engine department was insulated so it was a bit of a fuel hog.

More like the boat being sort of self devouring.

Ah, well. I don't fool around with small time steam with any illusions about getting anything looking like thermal efficiency.

Wes I was on the way with a bit of wood to my father's cabin on an island. have the privilege to be able to use the boat at work sometimes. as a workboat. that is no bad day on the job :)
