Last Outing of the Season

Post by fredrosse » Tue Dec 20, 2011 6:42 pm

26 November 2011, an unusually warm day at 70F, so we took the sidewheeler out on the Delaware one last time. Equally unusual, the Delaware River was calm, no winds, no waves, and no other boats about. Traveled Upstream from Philadelphia to Bristol. Returning in the early evening, the sunset on the river was really wonderful.

Your right that sunset looks great, perfect way to end the year.

On You Tube search for "stettin dampfeisbrecher" - there are a lot more videos!
