DAL engine coming together
DAL engine coming together
This is the engine for my vessel about a month ago. Totally stripped yet all painted and ready to come together. Just today I am setting up the valves - tricky stuff as the HP has a piston valve that is inside admission while the LP has a D valve outside admission. I hope to have it all together and running in about three weeks and then I will take another photo.
Happy steaming

Try using the sites own picture hosting. It works perfectly and it's not difficult.TriangleTom wrote:Photobucket's not showing up; try using imgur.

Thanks for the pictures!
It seems like a compact engine design, can't wait to see more!
P.S. I have found navigating the legal situation for Boilers in the states to be confusing and very frustrating. I recommend you do as you are trying, find your local Aussie steamers and they should be able guide you on the rules/laws that apply for you.
