TWIN 32 x 38 mm - steam engine for small boats or canoes

A special section just for steam engines and boilers, as without these you may as well fit a sail.

Hi,

there was an other little step. One part of the reversing gear was made.

The body was lasercutted, the distance blocks were turned and then silver soldered. The holes for the mounting bolts have been countersunk so that the bolt heads are flush with the surface. I have built a right and a left handed, so it is easy to mount it at the "right" side of the engine.
Now i think how to fix the reversing lever while running the engine.

Well done. That looks very neat.

Hope that the energy crisis is not hitting you too hard. Here in the UK we have a 'politics crisis' but the comedians are having a fine time mocking the current Government.

Best wishes

Pete
