New water tube boiler for Frøya

A special section just for steam engines and boilers, as without these you may as well fit a sail.

New water tube boiler for Frøya

Dave

In the “My new launch Mary Jane” thread you are referring a link for the launch Norman D.

The web side does not reveal any technical details apart from the link to Ray F. HasBrouck and what seems to be a 2 cylinder 2 x 2,5 “ simple engine.

Can you provide any link with more details or a contact for Roland Gaucher.

I am looking for a new boiler for Frøya, and I would like to know something about the size and performance of that Roberts type boiler.

Best regards
Jørgen

Hi Jorgen,

I can, but I need to ask his permission first.

Give me a little time on this....

However, you can contact Ron Ginger who now sells plans for the Hasbrouck engines as he co-built that boat with Roland.

Here's the link to Ron Ginger.....Good guy.
