A special section just for steam engines and boilers, as without these you may as well fit a sail.

Howdy All,

In surfing the net looking for boilers etc. I have happened across "wood fired" boilers that are intended for home use. Could those be used to run a steam engine ?

Such "hydronic" boilers are typically not rated for the pressures we need to run our steam boats, and have no provision for the collection and distribution of steam, so they are not suitable.
