Made it out to the Mid-Michigan steamboat meet at Hastings Michigan this past week. Had a great time, we originally had seven boats and four showed up. Two men showed up with their collection of beautiful hand-built steam powered tugs and ran them for us. I took the Tug and the Locomobile and between the two I was very busy.

Very nice looking boats. We had a pleasant outing on Lake Noxamixon this weekend also, four steamers there, and a very hot day.

I've been a lucky guy. I've been on the water with steam up for 8 of the last 12 days. Mostly taking people for rides in the bay here. One 15 mile trip. Today was just Barbara and I exploring a very low tide for animals and also located a sunken boat that is charted poorly.

Not one malfunction. Makes me a teeny bit nervous.

I've been playing with other steam things and got sidetracked from that. I need to get the bracket made for the front bollard. I took the cannon to the show and I was so busy I never had time to fire it.
