Windermere 2010

Post by Maltelec » Mon Aug 09, 2010 4:30 am

I'll be adding photo's to here hopefully on a daily basis of the Windermere rally 2010.

Yesterday I went on SY Gondola and was luy enough to get a chance at both running the engine and sitting in the captains chair.
I've got the vehicle, just need the boat.

I've made these ones into clickable thumbnails because there are a fair few of them.

The engines and boilers in storage are out of the Steamboat Museum.

Excellent! Looks like just about the perfect place to run a steam launch!

Since Lake Windermere is the place the steam launch reached her perfection, that's probably either the understatement of the year or a bit of "dry" humor.
