I just started getting interested in steam engines. My normal hobby is RC anything but air planes so I build functioning scratch replicas. My next project after Ferry man of the River Styx will be a steam launch, I will build everything from scratch no kits or castings. I'm here to pick a few brains on this site and hopefully get a good grip on the pluses and pitfalls of steam power. This is my last build a Greek Bireme used somewhere around 250 B.C.
