Steamboat Minnehaha
Here's a recently restored beauty that gives rides all summer long: http://www.steamboatminnehaha.org/index.html
Re: Steamboat Minnehaha
What a beautiful boat.
I love that triple expansion (see videos on youtube)
That looks like the PERFECT lake for steamboating.
Have you tried to contact these people to see if they could get you in contact with more steamboaters in your area?

Yes she is a beautiful boat! And an interesting story. I actually will be volunteering as an engineer on her a weekend or two a month in the summer as well as helping with some repairs this winter. I figure it will be well worth it for the experience and people I meet. I guess a few guys on the crew have their own steamers so I am anxious to get to know them.

One of the best ways to get to know other steamboaters. You may think you're all alone in your part of the world, but find something like this to volunteer on, and all of a sudden you've found a lot of like-minded people. Just remember to introduce them to this Forum.csonics wrote:Yes she is a beautiful boat! And an interesting story.
