Just a thought, and it may lead nowhere, Simon Winter Marine http://www.simonwintermarine.co.uk/ have a classic yacht policy that covers worldwide cruising. Simon also understands steam launches and insures Frances Ann. So, it strikes me that you might possibly get somebody sensible to communicate with if you enquire of them. It will only cost you the effort of an email to find out.
No, I don't have any financial interest in them - I just happened to be nerd enough to read through all of the insurance policy document!
