It would be a fairly simple task to great a site that pulled together a number of other databases, if there was for instance 4-5 clubs with databases like the SBA one.

Suggest you take a look at the Northwest Stean Society http://www.northweststeamsociety.org by selecting the "boats &c" button from the navigation column on the right. Then go to the "boats" listings. Take a look at the info contained on a page. Suggestions.

One reason I made this forum was to make it as easy as possible for the non-computer type folk to read and write about Steamboats.

There will always be some people who will never use the internet, so hopefully us who do will be able to aid them with any problems they have.

Spot on! That's exactly what I'm trying to do with the websites I handle. Anybody want to handle a Facebook page for Steamboating Magazine? If so, PM me.
