My understanding is that 2 stroke internal combustion engines NO MATTER WHAT THEY'RE USED FOR (including yard maintenance) cannot be sold/used in California.

I bought a Stihl trimmer - those are four stroke now. Chainsaws are still two stroke; four strokes are too heavy for the power they produce.

We use husqvarna 2-stroke chainsaws every day, bought and sold here in CA
