Many thanks for the great photo's ken glad you enjoyed the lake, Coniston water is much more peaceful than Windermere which gets rather crowded. At least the weather held out, its pay back time now, and has rained so much we cannot get Shamrock out of the boat house due to the hight of the lake.
Regards
Jack

Hi Ken,

Thank you for posting the pictures, I'm really glad you got to see the steamboats, and Nolan managed to get involved too- seeing Swallow and steering Captain Flint's Houseboat in one weekend!!

I sincerely hope you learnt a lot about what you want out of your steamboat- it was nice to see the whole family enjoying messing about in boats.

A shame to hear the weather that we now have was in the South when you visited John Winn, but at least the rally was dry.

Gondola hasn't sailed two days in a row- every jetty on the lake is underwater.

Greg,

Thanks for organizing the rally and for the opportunity to cruise on Gondola. She's a lovely vessel and keep up the good work keeping her running. Hopefully the high water will receed quickly and won't put too much of a dent in revenues.

I did learn a lot about what I want to include in my boat. A Windermere kettle will definitely be in the plans.

Cheers

Ken
