The problem with using the back button at the bottom is that it doesn't remove the thread from the list. The top header doesn't need to be in view all the time, but return as soon as the scroll-up is started, saving the long run to the top. I find it works exceeding well on short wide screens (tablet). Another option is a 'back to top' button.

Only the liquid ignited without an igntion source causes me concern.

If you use Firefox from Mozilla which is free, it has a built in spell checker.

I'm currently accessing the Forum from a tablet and the suggestions I made earlier would be a real boon. Trying to scroll back up to the top is a right PITA, especially in the longer threads.
