Hello i have been Reading on this forum fore a couple off years now, and it has helpt me a great deal when a build my Engine and boat.
Excuse my Spelling, i was probably sleeping in school.
My boat is a 30 ft steel tug and the Engine is a homebuilt condensing compound ca 18 hp. with a VFT boiler.
The boiler is a bit too small, so a made an air preheater and forsed draft, by a Engine driven fan.
Burning Wood. propeller 26"x40"

Nice looking tug. If I build another it will be about that size.
I tried posting the pic too, didn't work for me as well. Strange, posting pics here usually works pretty good. Youtube videos are generally difficult to post.

Let me try again..
There ya go. How it worked was went to the page and right clicked on the pic and selected "copy image location"and then pasted the link between the IMG tags.

Thanks for the help with the image.
I'll try again with a photo from last year, on the way to the first sea test.

Nice boat. I see vegetation on the bow. Have you been exploring the forest?
Tell me more about your engine driven fan. I am just now designing one for my boat.

the engine I have welded of steel, the liners are steel, cast iron piston rings, the bearings are white metal
and my own version off klugs valve gear.
almost the whole engine is built of scrap I had lying around. flywheel for example is from a vw engine
lots of work
