My old friend Al Berry is putting his new Hasbroucke V2 simple up for sale. Over 450 hours of masterful machining in Ray H's prettiest configuration. The engine is entirely hand made without castings. Lots of these engines are presently running beautifully in launches from 15 to 20 ft oal. This is a beautiful engine made with loving care by a master machinist. See the video on Youtube by cranking in http://youtu.be/bB5UhsZaHn4 or go to my website http://www.earlmorse.org/steamboa.html or paste http://www.earlmorse.org/steamboa.html and click the picture of this engine for a video. Ray's spec page for the engine is at http://hasbrouck.8m.com/eng8.htm If interested give me a call between 7 and 8 p.m. EST at 207 583 6957 or email. This engine will go on eBay the end of March if not sold prior.

Do you have a price in mind? 450 hours in machine shop talk is $45,000.

Al is retired and does one engine a year, max. At minimum wage compensation an absolute low price would be $3,200. Al would consider offers above that price... He might accept or hang on for other bids.. Last time he put a double on eBay it went above that price and was unpainted... I'd like to save him the eBay costs, if possible. Make an offer via email (E_J_Morse@roadrunner.com) or phone to keep confidential. .. If you do, I'll call Al and negotiate... I do this as a favor to a friend ... He has been my machine shop mentor... I love to watch this guy work... I learn something new every time....

This engine is available for free pick-up in either Waterford, Maine, USA or Stafford Springs, Connecticut, USA. It may be packed and shipped via US Mail, anywhere, at additional cost.
