Hallo from the Lake District in Holland

Yes we have a Lake District in Holland as well. It's not really mentioned like that but stil... lots of lakes in our District...
I have been reading many very usefull posts untill I discovered that I did not properly introduce myself at all!
Shame on me!!! It appears that a "senior moment" has hit me once again...
So there I go:
I am Frank, 59 years of age, nickname "Stoomsnor", from Maarssen in the centre of the Netherlands.
"Stoomsnor" means "Steammoustache" in Dutch and points out my facial appearance really.
So does the name of my boat-to-build called "Walrus". It's a practical way to find my boat when I am having another senior moment...
I always had a thing with steam so I planned to build a nice little steamboat, I think it sounds familiar to a lot of you guys...
However when I was in search of a nice little boiler and steamengine I stumbled over a "golden opportunity" and the next thing I know was that I was the proud owner of a "tiny" 25 HP twincompound Lentz steamengine with matching Scottsboiler and condensor!
After a year of fully ignoring me and not having the benefits of mariage in the flesh, finally my wife is on speaking terms again...
I will, however, not take you into detail about that and carry on with my introduction.
It took me a full year to figure out how what works and why. Since it was not all complete I also had to figure out what was missing and what was the function of parts that came with it.
I studied my father's books who used to be an mechanical engineer on Shelltankers. I doing so I discovered some writing on the sidepages so I could conclude I didn't get the same things he did'n't get in his days, so father so son I guess...
Further on I learned a lot of your posts guys and still do, thank you for that!!!
The problem is that the size of the boat will be somewhere in the middle between a recreational steamvessel and a real steamtug.
I am looking at a probably 30-40 feet steel hull that I am still looking for. The space needed to put my "powerpack" and coalstorage measures about 13-15 feet because of the room I need to shovel coal (I have to do that myself, my wife is not very helpfull on this matter...)
The boilerinspector was a nice but strict guy who gave me several tips to get my boiler savely steaming again, so I am working on that.
Further on I managed to purchase a nice feedpump that I am restoring as we speak.
The piping will be the next isue I guess, I am still studieing on that with help of your posts.
