Lake Tahoe Steam Launch

Hello,

I am researching the history and possible whereabouts of a steam launch my uncle ran on Lake Tahoe in the 1960s. I believe the name was Carnelian. I have one picture of her docked in Lake Tahoe.

Any information would be most appreciated.

Hi Mike,

That looks like it was taken in Tahoe city. Engine looks like maybe a navy B or G judging by the LP valve chest cover...

Unfortunately many of the folks up here that may have known that launch have passed relatively recently. I'll give a try at asking around.
