I'm a newbie here, and a complete newbie to Steam boating in general. (Although I have always loved boats, and have found steam power endlessly fascinating.)

I've been lurking for awhile now, and decided that it was finally time to join in!

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, but I'll save those for the appropriate forum.
