For Sale: Hotspur Steamboat
History: Built in 1962 by Benson Brothers in Maple Bay. 22 feet long, constructed of Cedar wood with a fiberglass skim.
2 HP Blackstaff-Wood Stemple Steam Engine. 4 HP Blackstaff Wood Boiler, propane fired.
Appeared in Victoria's classic boat show, and was best in Show in the 1983 and 2004.
Condition: Engine is in good operating condition but the hull needs some repairs, with a leaky bilge. Includes a trailer. Currently in Victoria.

I was worried about the fate of the ol' girl when last week [to my surprise!] "Hotspur" ended up just down the road from me.And the new owner restores cars [including Stanleys] and plans to do a ground up[water up??] restoration.Super-that's one more steamboat saved!! Den
