Dimensions of Paddlewheels

I have received this request from Gary:
Where might I find the dimensions of paddlewheels, esp. sidewheels, of some well-known 19th century boats? Even when detailed specs are provided--loa, beam, draft, etc.--I find nothing about the sizes of the wheels.
I'm writing an article. Any guidance appreciated.
