2011 Mid-Michigan Steamboat meet

Posting a notice that our Steamboat meet is July 8th-10th.
It is held at Charlton Park near Hastings Michigan (southwest of Lansing).
I've been to this show a few times and it is definitely worth the drive. On the grounds of historic Charlton Park, a turn of the century retro village. And in conjunction with the Steam and Gas show. There are traction engines, Mule pulls, antique tractors/pulls, hit and miss engines, sawmill demonstrations, and of course, Steamboats. Lot's to see and do.
The gentleman that hosts the Steamboat section is bringing his new boat, the "Huron", a 23 foot Elliot bay hulled, compound powered beauty. Plus several more interesting boats. And it's looking like I'll have Iron Chief out there as well. Window and door-less, and missing many of the anticipated polished bronze accoutrements, but present and operational nonetheless.
Hope to see you there!
