Please, find attached pictures of steam pipe between cylinders. The length of it is 0.5 m, diameter - 1 1/2 inch.

Congratulations on your great progress!
I would think that the volume of the HP cylinder would be adequate for the receiver pipe, especially since you have a bit more volume in the LP valve chest as well. A long as there's adequate volume for the LP to get filled and not starved every time the valve opens, you're in good shape.
