Intesting; and different! Even cool!

My thought though is what a lot of extra work to go to for so little. Yes, there may be a small saving in frictional losses, Yes, there is a saving on wear to the cross-slides, but at the expense of having to machine the racks and appropriate cogs on the walking cross-slide. Great in any boat where it can be seen. What a talking point? Vive la differance!!!

This engine has been on Ebay several times over the last few years. Just needs the right buyer (or a lower price).
