Re: Valve Chest Cover Removal
try a block of wood or lexan and hit it with a hammer around the face evenly, it will walk off eventually

Re: Valve Chest Cover Removal
I was thinking of tapping 2- 1/4 in holes in my head and valve chest covers-wind a 1/4 in bolt in and off pops the head but since I've switched to using "Neverseeze" as a gasket goo I 've never had those parts stick on-just a minor tap with a screw driver and off they come!!

Hey guys,
Just to be clear. I hammer on the face of the valve chest cover plate around the
Perimeter, not on the sides if the face plate ?

you can comein on an angle on the side of the face plate with a hammer and piece of lexan or wood , lightly tapping away from the valve body
