SS Badger is a car ferry that is a 410 ft long coal steamer on Lake Michigan with two large Unaflow Skinner Steam engines. She shuttles between Ludington, Michigan, and Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Definitely worth the experience, especially if you include it with a trip to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc.
