Introduction

Post by alertbay »

Well, this is my first effort on one of these types of thingees. So I think I'm introducing myself to all of you. I've been a fan of steam power since my Grandfather bought me a toy stationary engine that made steam out of sterno burners. Currently, I'm preparing a small launch and have almost all of the necessary parts. I need to modify the hull and get busy. Mostly, I've been Wesley Harcourt's father's devoted lascar, slaving away contentedly in the engine room for a cup of tea and a bowl of thin gruel. Well, sometimes I've been a mutinous lascar, but as the old saying goes, you just can't get good help these days.

I'm now going to stifle myself, always a problem, and see if I can post this successfully. Best regards.j

There's lots of good info and many years of experience here.

If you click on the "user control panel" link on the upper right hand side of the page you can then go and edit your profile; add an avitar (the picture to the right) or a signature if you'd like.
