Yeah, learning how to do all of that on this forum ... Hafta set up something external, it appears ...

LOA 24'
LWL 20'
Beam 6'+
Draft 1'5"

Classic fantail launch custom designed by RB Parker ... Basic hull structure finished out of old-growth Doug fir, okoume, etc. Fairing, fairing, fairing ... About to cover with 4 and 6oz cloth, respectively.

More to come ...

You can post a few pictures directly onto this forum in your reply, I think the limit is 250k size for any one photo. Saves going thru other host websites.

for example.........

Okay, took a little while to convert the lines from a ledger-size pdf file ... Writing's a little blurry, but you get the idea ...

Nice hull building, looks like it will do well. I also see motorcycles in the background, some of us have had a few. Do you know Kelly Andersen of the Strasburg RR?

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting - a very nice hull and a good size too. How long has it taken? In due course, please do post some pics of boring for the stern tube as this is a tricky part of building a boat for most of us. Looks as though your designer has been clever and drawn so that the bore is at right angles to the end face of the keel. Best wishes for your project, John in Scotland
